As a dedicated consultant, practitioner, teacher leader, and coach, Paula Peters is committed to fostering high-challenge, high-support, rigorous experiences for all students. As an international educator and administrator,  Paula supported schools in implementing and refining tiered system of support (MTSS) frameworks explicitly focusing on the support of Multilingual learners. In her role, Paula engages in professional presentations, job-embedded coaching, and collaboration with teachers and administrators. Her efforts are dedicated to maximizing student outcomes . Paula brings extensive experience in integrated, co-taught, and special needs classrooms, where she has worked with various curricula and pedagogies.

One of Paula's strengths lies in her ability to work effectively within teams, contributing to the implementation and refinement stages of change in educational settings. Session Overview

Participating in this workshop will empower educators with the expertise and resources to strengthen your school's capacity to utilize the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework effectively for addressing the needs of multilingual learners. By delving into high-quality, research-based instruction anchored in culturally responsive practices, exploring the implementation of both designated and integrated English Language Development (ELD) support, and engaging in systemic professional development and collaborative structures within the established MTSS framework, schools can improve the academic language development and learning outcomes not only for multilingual learners but for all students.
